To effectively predict the life of high voltage dc power relay, authors design structure relay to extending its life. The contact failure mechanism products is analyzed by observing appearance several failures. electromagnetic-thermal field coupling model established and state heat flow distribution temperature increase between electrical thermal contacts are through simulations experiments. An adaptive neural network control system conduct sample training, obtain best stiffness coefficient main spring, optimize spring composed composite springs. action voltage, release resistance, pressure, time, time as characteristic parameters, relative error, correlation degree, variance ratio, small error probability each parameter, calculated. precision grade index resistance defined level 1. two parameters selected prediction variables establish life-prediction based on gray theory. predicted test 5.31%–5.6%, indicating that has accuracy. results show combined can extend a 18.15%.
